We leverage the expertise of our Board of Directors as well as a network of relationships with a diverse set of venture capital firms, angel investors and industrial partners active in the relevant technology areas. Leveraging the expertise of such "specialists" deepens the entrepreneur's insight into potential markets, the competitive landscape and appropriate product development paths.

Capital Raising
Access to capital is critical to early stage technology companies, when venture capital funding can be scarce. Through its partnerships, the Illinois Technology Development Alliance provides seed stage equity financing to client companies and organizes programs to address federal funding opportunities in preparation for private investment.

Client Development and Sales
The ITDA leverages the contacts and relationships of our Board of Directors, industrial and federal agency sponsors to facilitate qualified business development introductions for our clients.

Getting Started
Our client evaluation process is very simple. Any technology business looking for us to provide services first needs to complete a Request for Assistance (RFA) form. We will review the RFA and materials you provide. If the company fits our Target Client Criteria, we will set up a face-to-face meeting to review your business plan or concept. If not, we will refer you one of many Partners for more appropriate assistance services.
